Meet OUR FOUNDER

Dr. Bridget U. Bazunu

Dr. Bridget Bazunu is the Founder of Jesus Christ University, a biblical counselor, author of three transformational books, conference speaker, marriage and family advocate, and a purpose-driven minister of the Gospel with more than 20 years of ministry experience.

Called by God to raise spiritually mature believers, Dr. Bridget carries a deep passion for teaching God's Word and equipping people to walk in truth, freedom, healing, purpose, and the fullness of Christ. The "Cry of the Spirit" resonates throughout her ministry, compelling believers to deeper intimacy with God, wholehearted obedience, and lives that reflect His glory.

Driven by an unwavering love for God and compassion for people, she has dedicated more than two decades to restoring lives, strengthening marriages, rebuilding families, and transforming communities through biblical counseling, evangelistic outreaches, conferences, crusades, workshops, leadership development, and online discipleship. She also partners with pastors and ministries to equip believers, strengthen local churches, and advance the Kingdom of God through missions and discipleship.

Dr. Bridget's greatest burden is to see the glory of God reflected in individuals, families, churches, communities, and nations. That burden gave birth to Jesus Christ University—a Spirit-led teaching platform born from a vision God placed in her heart years ago to establish a School of the Spirit that would equip believers with biblical truth, empower them to live victoriously, and prepare them to bring freedom, healing, and transformation to others.

She believes that lasting transformation begins with the Word of God and that every believer is called to grow into spiritual maturity, discover their God-given purpose, and become an effective ambassador for Christ. Her prayer is to see a generation whose lives, homes, ministries, and communities beat in rhythm with the heartbeat of God.

Through decades of ministry, extensive biblical counseling, Spirit-inspired revelation, practical teaching, and more than forty-two years of marriage, Dr. Bridget continues to inspire people around the world to deepen their relationship with Christ, expand their capacity, fulfill their divine assignment, and leave a lasting Kingdom legacy.

WHY PREACH THE GOSPEL?

For me, teaching and preaching the Word of God is not optional; it is a divine mandate. I am intensely compelled and driven by the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

The Apostle Paul said:
“For if I preach the gospel, I have nothing to boast of, for necessity is laid upon me; yes, woe is me if I do not preach the gospel!” (1 Corinthians 9:16)
